This Privacy Policy describes how OPTIMAL GO (HONG KONG) INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, operating as My-Handcraft ("My-Handcraft," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from my-handcraft.com (the "Site") or otherwise communicate with us.

If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy regarding the collection, processing, or disclosure of personal information, this Privacy Policy will control.

Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how information is handled as described below.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Payment information: payment status, billing details, and limited transaction information; full payment-card details are processed by our payment providers and are not directly stored by us
  • Account information: login details, preferences, and saved information if customer accounts are available
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, interactions, and approximate location derived from IP address
  • Communications: messages, reviews, photographs, videos, and other information you provide to customer support or through the Site
  • Custom-order information: measurements, model information, specifications, personalization details, or other information needed to prepare a custom product

2. How We Collect Information

We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through the Site and related technologies, from Shopify and service providers acting on our behalf, and from advertising, analytics, payment, fulfillment, fraud-prevention, and customer-service partners.

  • Process payments, fulfill orders, arrange delivery, and provide tracking
  • Prepare custom or personalized products

We do not currently use marketing text messages. Transactional delivery or security messages may be sent where necessary and permitted.

4. Shopify and Service Providers

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information to provide ecommerce, checkout, payment, security, analytics, and related services. Shopify's handling of personal information is also described in its own privacy notices.

We may use Shopify features that combine information from interactions with our store, Shopify, and other merchants to support fraud prevention, analytics, personalization, and advertising. In those circumstances, Shopify may be independently responsible for certain processing and for responding to rights requests concerning that processing.

Depending on our current store configuration and your consent choices, we may use service providers and tools such as:

  • Shopify, Shopify Analytics, Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, and Shopify Inbox
  • Meta Pixel and related Meta advertising services
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • TikTok Pixel and TikTok advertising services
  • Microsoft Clarity
  • Judge.me for customer reviews and user-generated content
  • Payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, carriers, warehouses, fulfillment providers, email providers, and customer-support providers

These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. The tools active on the Site may change as our business and testing needs change. We will update this policy when a material change requires it.

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent fraud, understand usage, and provide or measure advertising.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary transactional communications about orders, payments, delivery, security, returns, or support.

9. User-Generated Content and Reviews

If you submit a review, photograph, video, or other public content, that information may be visible to other visitors. Do not post information you want to keep private. Review services such as Judge.me may process your submission to verify and publish it.

10. International Data Transfers

We operate from Hong Kong and use providers in multiple countries. Your personal information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions outside your place of residence, including locations where Shopify and our service providers operate.

Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards or lawful transfer mechanisms, which may include the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent United Kingdom transfer terms.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. The retention period depends on the type of information and the purpose for which it is used.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. If applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response or contacting us again with the word "Appeal" in the subject line.

You may also have the right to complain to the privacy or data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
